Debut album ‘Laughter needs the World’ available Nov 05. Porlock formed in Sheffield out of necessity in 2002. We stopped listening to the mind numbing sound of today and listened instead to the sound in our heads. This gave us the uncontrollable urge to create. We do not imitate other groups, but we admire the avant-garde approach displayed by The Beach Boys, Sonic Youth and Can.
